A New Site for a New Year

On January 10th, 2007, the second version of Daredevil Designer: Portfolio for Patrick Howard was released. The updated site now has a new look with more sections and even more projects. In this version of Daredevil Designer, I went for a much heavier CSS-based design. However, I also wanted to show that it is possible to make a CSS-based site that isn't just a box with left-hand navigation. This being a personal portfolio site, I had some liberties that don't always arise when designing a site for a client. You'll notice a much cleaner approach to web design in the "Portfolio" section of the site.

Some of the new features include a more in-depth "About" section, showing more than just a short bio. The "Links" section has also been expanded to include Other Designers, Resources and Literature. Probably the biggest change to the site is the "Portfolio" section, which is the real meat of the site. There are now more than 50 projects and over 100 images. The last section that I've added is this "News" section, which will be written from my prospective as to what's new with me and my work.
